”a spectacular experience”
Clemens Altgård, Skånska Dagbladet
Spectrum is a vibrant new dance-theater work journeying from infrared to ultraviolet using movement, song and language to explore a range of associative responses to the colours present within perceptible light.
”The six dancers / .. / are utterly remarkable and one is easily seduced by each one of them.”
Andrea Grapengiesser, Kristianstadsbladet
Within the confines of a large lacquered box Spectrum becomes a kinetic sketchbook, where the six dancers generate a variety of overlapping images, transforming the space just as the colours transform in the subtle gradations of light.
”an unusual dance performance, a playful collage of movement, visual art, music in a dialogue with the audience of what colour is, or could be.”
Ingela Brovik, Danstidningen
Ben Wright is the choreographer behind highly acclaimed the feeling of going and To see the world while the light lasts, two celebrated works performed by Skånes Dansteater at Malmö Opera. This time he creates for Skånes Dansteater’s own stage.
