A brand new magazine all about dance and the people behind our 2023 at Skånes Dansteater is hot from the press!
Instead of a annual catalog presenting the coming seasons' productions, for 2023 we are releasing a dance magazine focusing on the persons creating the art. You'll meet choreographers, dancers, composers, community dancers and more.
– It is a wonderful feeling to be able to present this jam-packed magazine! An ambition to offer you an inspiring read exploring contemporary dance today, says Mira Helenius Martinsson, our CEO and Artistic Director, who continues:
– Every year Skånes Dansteater collaborates with several creative artists with beautiful stories to share. Ideas and experiences that we want to document and share. The experience of dance doesn't always need to be described in words, but sometimes it is an asset to actually know the processes or minds of the creators. I hope these articles raise questions and trigger curiosity. I wish you all an inspiring read!
