About
A shared evening of dance by two acclaimed Nordic choreographers, 'Once a Whisper' by Helena Franzén and 'Zero-Zero' by Johanna Nuutinen.
The double-bill 'Franzén/Nuutinen' welcomes you to a multisensory experience. Two dance works by two acclaimed Nordic choreographers, Helena Franzén and Johanna Nuutinen. With highly individual approaches the two works thematically use nature as inspiration, exploring the unyielding cyclic movement of it.
'Franzén/Nuutinen' is an experience of reflection and stillness, of brilliant choreography, new compositions and spectacular dancers.
ONCE A WHISPER
In 'Once a Whisper' choreographer Helena Franzén creates a group, a strong collective, an solid organism. Bodies almost dissolving in motion, blending into a misty, mossy greenery. A creation soothing us to serenity to suddenly pierce the stillness with a cry.
ZERO-ZERO
In 'Zero-Zero' choreographer Johanna Nuutinen examines how small fragments of knowledge sometimes informs our entire perception of the world. Creating illusions of actual order and coherence. Leaving us constantly longing for something always illuding us.
