ABOUT THE LIVE STREAM
The performance will be streamed in its entirety from its performance start. You can experience the performance via your computer, iPad or mobile phone. The stream is available internationally as well. If you want to watch the performance on your TV you will need to connect your computer, laptop or mobile phone to your TV via an HDMI cable, SMART TV or Chromecast (only via computer or Android). Please note that the stream requires a solid internet connection, good speakers, or earphones.
HOW TO DO IT
Buy a ticket to the performance date you wish to watch. You can buy a streaming ticket up until 2 hours prior to the performance.
No later than 60 mins prior to the performance you will receive an email with a password to the live stream. Please check your spam mail as well as your inbox.
Contact us via bokning@malmoopera.se if you haven’t received the email 60 mins before the performance. The password works first the day of the performance.

Enter the password you have received via email in the box "Enter password" (please note that all charcters of the password must be entered. Click on "Submit".
Done! You are all set to watch the live stream of TRANSIT.
Click on the full-screen icon in the lower right corner of the film to watch the performance in full-screen mode.
Please note: As TRANSIT begins the stage is rather dark. The music is initially a low electronic soundscape.

BEST PRACTICE PREP
Log onto the stream in good time
We open the stream 1 hour prior to the performance. Connect yourself to the performance via the password which you have received via email to check so that image and sound works properly.
Refresh the web page before the performance
If you’ve logged onto the stream early, it can be good to reload the page a couple of minutes before the performance begins.
A reliable internet connection
Please ensure that your internet connection is reliable.
Good audio
Please ensure that your device is connected to some form of speakers.
FAQ
Can I pause, rewind, or watch the performance at another date?
The performance is only streamed live. Therefor you can’t pause, go back or forward or watch the performance at another date.
Which browser is best suited for the stream?
Chrome is a very suitable browser (older browsers such as Internet Explorer aren’t recommended).
I want to watch the stream on my TV. What do I do?
If you want to watch the live stream on your TV, the most reliable solution is to connect your device via an HDMI cable.
