Hanna Nussbaumer

Dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2020.

Hanna was born in 1992 in Sydney, Australia. After graduating from the Ecole Ballet School, she moved to London in 2010 and graduated with BA (Hons) from the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2013. During her time there she had the opportunity to work with Rambert Dance Company in Itzik Galili’s A Linha Curva.

Hanna then continued her studies at the London School of Contemporary Dance graduating with a Master of Arts Degree (dance). In 2013 Hanna took up an apprenticeship position with Danish Dance Theatre before accepting a job at Norrdans in January 2015. There she had the opportunity to work with many choreographers including Mats Ek, Mari Carrasco, Jo Strømgren Fernando Melo, Martin Forsberg, Tina Tarpgaard, Yossi Berg and Oded Graf and Katrin Hall.

Hanna then entered a life of freelance dancing in Prague and London in 2019-2020 before accepting a position here at Skånes Dansteater. Furthermore, she continues to study for her Romana’s Pilates Degree.

As a dancer at Skånes Dansteater, Hanna has been involved in productions such as 'Carnival of the Animals, 'Transit', 'Remind Me I'm Not Dead' and 'Out of the Blue'.
