Jure Gostinčar

Dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2021.

Jure was born in 1992 in Koper, on the Slovenian coast. He is trained in various dance styles in local dance schools and started working as freelancer in Slovenia.

After graduating from Ballet Junior de Genève in Geneva, Switzerland in 2015, he joined ŻfinMalta, the National Dance Company of Malta. He has also worked in projects with Proyecto Titoyaya in Spain and Gwyn Emberton Dance in the UK. Prior to joining Skånes Dansteater he was part of OCN -TanzRAUM Nord in Bremen, Germany.

During his career, Jure has so far worked with Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, Iván Pérez Avilés, Felix Landerer, Jose Agudo, Gwyn Emberton, Helge Letonja, Samir Calixto, etc.

As a dancer at Skånes Dansteater, Jure has been involved in productions such as 'Carnival of the Animals', 'Once a Whisper' (part of 'Franzén/Nuutinen'), 'Transit', 'Don't Kiss .Skånes' and 'Out of the Blue'.
