Kat Nakui
Dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2022.
Kat Nakui graduated from Arts Umbrella in Vancouver under the direction of Artemis Gordon. After graduating she moved to the Netherlands to start her apprenticeship in Noord Nederlands Dans.
Since then she has worked and toured in many companies including Theater Mannheim, ProArteDanza Toronto, Imperfect Dancers Pisa, Theater Osnabrück, Theater Wurzbüg and Landestheater Linz. In her experiences she has had the pleasure to perform works from artists such as Marco Goecke, Stephen Shropshire, Mauro di Candia, Rafaële Giovanola, Walter Matteini, Roberto Campanella, Guillaume Côté, Kevin O'day, Dominique Dumais, Kris Harring to name a few.
As a dancer at Skånes Dansteater, Kat has been involved in productions such as 'Once a Whisper' (a part of 'Franzén/Nuutinen'), 'The Dropouts' and 'Going Steady' among others.
