Marco Prete

Dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2024.

Marco Prete was born in Biella, Italy where he is trained in various dance styles in local dance schools.

2018 he joined “Eko Dance International Project”, a professional training project in Turin that offers young dancers internships and professional experiences, and with an average of 20 shows a year. He studied excerpts from the repertoire of Mats Ek, playing on stage roles such as: Don José in Carmen, the father in Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and more, led by Pompea Santoro, one of the closest assistants to Mats Ek. He also got the opportunity to work with emerging choreographers such as: Roberta Ferrara, Paolo Mohovich, Fabio Liberti, Francesca Frassinelli, Fernando Suels Mendoza and others.

Since 2020 to 2023 Marco has been part of the “Eko Dance - The Company” directed by Pompea Santoro. In 2024 he takes part of “The rite of spring - The ritual of return” production, by Equilibrio Dinamico Dance Company, directed by Roberta Ferrara.

Marco will perform in our production 'Don't, Kiss .Skånes'.
