Panos Paraschou

Dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2024.

Panos Paraschou, born deaf in Greece, studied at the Greek National School of Dance (KSOT) in Athens. Later, he continued his studies at the SEAD Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance in Austria.

Through his studies at both dance schools, he has worked with artists such as Alexandra Waierstall, Eduardo Torroja (Ultima Vez), Athanasia Kanellopoulou, Edouard Hue (Beaver Dam Company), Julyen Hamilton, Daphnis Kokkinos, Paul Blackman, among others.

In 2019, Panos performed with his partner at the TEDx event at the Vassiliko Theatre in Thessaloniki, showcasing contemporary dance. In 2020, he participated in a dance film selected and presented online at the 11th Athens Video Dance Project. Additionally, he performed in a work-in-progress performance for Europe Beyond Access (EBA) at the Onassis Stegi in Athens.

Panos will perform in our production 'Don't, Kiss .Skånes' among other things.
