Samuel Denton
Dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2009.
Samuel is British and trained at London Contemporary Dance School.
He was an apprentice within Dance Apprentice Network aCross Europe, working with William Forsythe, Wayne Mcgregor, Frederic Flamand and Angelin Preljocaj.
Samuel joined Skånes Dansteater in 2009 and has worked with choreographers such as Marcos Morau, Philippe Blanchard and Örjan Andersson.
Samuel freelanced for a few years, workning with Felix Landerer, Tina Tarpgaard, Martin Forsberg, Ben Wright, Lenka Vagnerova and Theo Clinkard, and then returned to Skånes Dansteater.
As a dancer at Skånes Dansteater, Samuel has been involved in productions such as 'Domino', 'Common Ground', 'Once a Whisper' (part of 'Franzén/Nuutinen), 'Transit', 'Time Loops', 'Vår Dag', 'Mozart's Requiem' and 'The view from here'. Besides being one of the company dancers, Samuel has managed and hosted Dance Pod with Skånes Dansteater together with Skånes Dansteater's dancer Kit Brown.
