Baby Dance at Malmöfestivalen
Explore dance together! An easy and short dance workshop for babies and their accompanying adults.
Please note that "Baby Dance at Malmöfestivalen" is not held at Skånes Dansteater, but in Malmöfestivalen's "Barnlandet" at Lördagsplan in Slottsparken (Kung Oscars väg 8–11, Malmö).
Dance workshop at Malmöfestivalen
A dance session for you and your baby under the trees in Malmöfestivalen's "Barnlandet". A workshop led by our dancer Madeleine Månsson.
With experiences from her own parental leave in mind, everything that goes on around a small baby in the beginning, the loneliness that can appear from time to time and the lack of sleep that can be overwhelming, this workshop invites you to a space for dance and being together with others in the same situation.
During the workshop, music will be played softly in the background. If a baby falls asleep, or gets sad or needs a new diaper during the workshop, this is no problem.

Free admission.
No tickets or registration required.
Practical information
No previous dance experience required.
The workshop is held in Swedish.
Our dance workshops welcome all abilities.
Wear clothes that you feel comfortable moving around in. We often dance in our socks, or barefoot.
If you use a baby carrier or shawl, please bring it to the workshop.
