Skånes Dansteater wants you to feel well prepared when you visit us.
I am going to see my first dance performance, and I know nothing about dance.
How wonderful! Well, some of our performances are more immediate and some are more complex.
We suggest that you take your seat, relax and let yourself be enveloped into the performance in whatever way that appeals to you. Don't try to find a narrative or story. Whatever you feel the performance has given you or made you feel, is right and true.
In our short filmed performance introductions, we introduce you to the artists, themes and background of the performance you are about to see and shed light on interesting details. The film is available for free and can be a guide into the experience. The films are found on our performance pages on this site.
We hope your first visit with us will be the first of many. Welcome!
Are children welcome at performances?
We are happy to welcome young audiences to the performances!
The age guidence is usually from 12 years if nothing else is specified.
Our family productions always offer specific children's tickets and regular performances offer 50% discounts for all visitors under 26 years.
Can you help me with my wheelchair?
The first row in our auditorium is on floor level. If you use a wheelchair, you can either book the wheelchair seats indicated on the seating plan of our auditorium or any of the other seats on row 1.
