Blå timme

Welcome to a place that exists only briefly but where anything is possible, if you only dare to let go! An outdoor dance, theatre and music performance by the sea.

'Blå timme' (Blue Hour) is a collaboration with Malmö Sommarscen and is performed outdoors at Scaniaplatsen in Malmö's Västra hamnen (West Harbour), free of charge, no tickets required.

Between dreams and reality

What goes on in the gap between being awake and being asleep? Is it reality? Is it a dream? When the sun is rising but the day has not yet dawned. Or when the sun is setting and darkness has not yet fallen. The blue hour has struck.  With a mix of dance, theatre and music, 'Blå timme' tells stories from the world of dreams are told.

Welcome to a place that only exists for a short time but where anything is possible - if you dare to let go!  The performance ‘Blue Hour’ is performed outdoors at Scaniaplatsen in Västra hamnen, Malmö.

A part of project Viaductus

In the ‘Viaductus’ project, 14 dancers, musicians and actors have worked together with dancer and choreographer Madeleine Månsson, actor and radio producer Catrine Lundell, and musician and composer Jonas Jonasson during a 14-day residency. The result is a performance premiering where the city meets the sea in as a part of Malmö Sommarscen.

Behind the performance 'Blå timme' (Blue Hour) is ‘Viaductus’. A three-year project working to reduce the gap between performing artists with disabilities and the professional performing arts so that more performing artists can work professionally.

The project is run by Moomsteatern, ShareMusic & Performing Arts and Skånes Dansteater, with support from Allmänna Arvsfonden.
