Celebrate Malmö Scenfest at Skånes Dansteater in the the wonderous micro world of bugs. A dance performance by Regionteater Väst for audiences 9-12 years old.

Can we learn from bees?

In a bee community the queen is the mother of all the bees. She runs her bee hive through scents, guiding the worker bees to make honey, clean and keep guard. They communicate by dancing, var is there nectar and pollen? Where can I find water? The movements gives the answers.

All bees work together for the good of their community. And how is it with us humans?

Honey Honey is a dance performance that takes us into the tiny world of bugs. Inspired by swarms, drones and bee dances with an original score this performance examines us humans and the communities we create. How do we treat and communicate with each other? Can we in nature reconnect with the respect for the smaller beings and their absolute necessity for our shared ecosystem?

Practical Information

Danslördag: Honey Honey is performed on our new stage space Bågscenen. The entrance is located on Östra Varvsgatan 13D, around the corner, towards the sea, from the regular entrance on Östra Varvsgatan 13A.

All tickets to this event are free and can be picked up in our box office 60 mins before the performance., first come, first served.

Try the choreography

60 minutes prior to the performance anyone with a ticket can join the dancers Regionteater Väst in the dance studio for a mini dance workshop and physical introduction to the choreography and themes in the performance you are about to see.
