How is choreography created? What is the daily life of a dancer like? In our Sunday workshops, we dive into the dance and choreography in our performances and learn tools used by dancers everyday. No previous dance experience is required. The workshop is led by our company dancers who during two hours share knowledge, techniques and explore choreographic material with you.

About Like the Shadow: I am And I am not

Acclaimed Norwegian choreographer Ina Christel Johannessen creates works that pose questions about the contradictions of life. She turns things upside down and inside out to examine our existence.

In the new creation Like the Shadow: I am And I am not our dancers are joined on stage by Mattias Ümit Yilbar Norgren, one of Sweden's foremost professional beatboxers. Two art forms meet and open up new spaces in Chrisander Brun's set design. Here, new possibilities, experiences, and truths are explored in the body and the mind.

The performance premieres at Skånes Dansteater on October 10.
