After the Funk Intro workshop with Theresa, DJ Slowz invites you to a Sunday Open Dance session! Set yourself free to Funk, Disco, and House rhythms. Bring a friend, parent, or grandparent, and join us on the dance floor for the final celebration of this year’s Turning Floors Festival!

After the Open dance session, the arrangers are planning to celebrate the end of the Festival at the beach close by. Hang out with your Festival peers with music, snacks, and good vibes.

About Turning Floors into Freedom

A festival that aims to reduce the distance between professional dancers, enthusiasts, and diverse groups in society - connecting bodies, bridging communities.Through workshops, performances, talks, and DJ open dance sessions, different generations, cultures, and styles come together on the dance floor. 

Here, local dancers share their knowledge and invite conversations about the city’s dance community. Our bodies carry collective knowledge, and dance becomes a space for health and well-being through playfulness, mobility, and connection.

The program ranges from contemporary dance and street styles to traditional folk dance, club culture, and somatic practices.

Organized by Turning Floors Team, supported by Danscentrum Syd, Region Skåne, and Skånes Dansteater.
