Folk och Kultur 2026: More artists with disabilities on stage!

Equity work that lasts 

The Viaductus Project (2023-2026)works to bridge the gap between performing artists with disabilities and the industry. Research and current studies shows that the industry is ready, but many are searching for their own objectives and tools for how.

In collaboration with Region Skåne and the Swedish Arts Council, you are welcome to a discussion on how to take the next steps toward long-term change. The conversation highlights how organizations and individuals can develop, what economic conditions and incentives are required, and how different roles interact within a shared ecosystem. Thru examples, research, and experiences, this discussion will highlight what is provided for those who want to start or deepen their development work with a focus on equal opportunities.

Viaductus is a project 2023-2026 funded by Allmänna arvsfonden and is a collaboration between Moomsteatern, Skånes Dansteater and ShareMusic & Performing Arts. 

About Folk och Kultur

Folk och Kultur is a cultural policy convention initiated by Länsteatrarna i Sverige (regional theaters of Sweden), Regional Musik i Sverige (regional music producers) and Länsmuseernas Samarbetsråd (the coalition of regional museums). The convention has developed in close collaboration with the municipality of Eskilstuna and Sörmland together with hundreds of presenters and creatives. It is an annual convention since 2018 held in Munktellstaden in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
