Kit Brown

Dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2015.

Kit trained at The Place/London Contemporary Dance School. Before moving to Sweden, he worked with companies such as National Dance Company Wales, Welsh National Opera, and Lîla Dance in the UK.

With Skånes Dansteater Kit has performed works by Ben Wright, Marina Mascarell, Tina Tarpgaard, Tilman O’Donnell, Rachel Tess, Ludvig Daae and Heidi Vierthaler among others. He has also worked pedagogically, teaching and giving workshops for both non-professional and professional dancers. 

During his time with Skånes Dansteater Kit has also choreographed an outdoor production When the Crowds are Gone and created several award-winning short dance films. Together with Skånes Dansteater's dancer Samuel Denton he has managed and hosted Dance Pod with Skånes Dansteater since 2020.
