Tangos Flamencos: Festive Friday

What are Tangos Flamencos? Tangos is a lively "flamenco palo" closely related to rumba flamenca, characterized by a cheerful four-count rhythm. This festive style, along with "bulerías," is celebrated in Flamenco.

This workshop invites those with little or no experience in Flamenco dance or music, including children aged 10 and up. In our 1.5-hour session, students will enjoy learning the basic rhythm of Tangos through counting and "palmas." We will progress to fun arm and foot movements, concluding with a short choreography. The class will be in English, incorporating essential Spanish terms.

Please wear comfortable clothing—dance attire or casual wear is fine.
Opt for comfortable closed-toe shoes, ideally flat sneakers.
