Tina Tarpgaard

Tina Tarpgaard is a choreographer and dancer based in Copenhagen. In 2005 she founded the company Recoil Performance Group, the group evolves choreographic and cross-aesthetic projects often in collaboration with software artists and bio artists. 

Her work have won several awards both nationally and internationally, including the National Danish Performing Art Award (REUMERT) for best dance performance. Tina Tarpgaard has also been a guest choreographer with several companies, including
Danish Dance Theater, The Royal Danish Ballet, The Royal Theatre’s contemporary company Corpus in Denmark and Norrdans in Sweden. Tina trained at the Rambert School of Ballet in London and at The Rudra Béjart School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
She has a Master in Public Governance at Copenhagen Business School.
