Tracks can be a song, a trail, or a path: a way to get lost and a guide to follow in the search for "the right track."

A track is also the grove in the vinyl which the needle follows, creating that recognizable crunch of dust before the sounds hits you —a powerful reminder of the pre-digital, analog era before we went wireless. Amid tangles and wires, the duet Tracks celebrates the heart in the rhythm, the mystery of co-existence, and the ongoing collaborative force within a deep friendship on and off stage. Using the raw vocabulary of the street genre, the work is at once humorous, warm, and deeply moving, reminding us that the future always holds opportunities to change direction and build something different.

Viktor Fröjd and Yared Tilahun Cederlund have worked as collaborators in numerous choreographic explorations for over 10 years. Tracks premiered at Dansstationen in Malmö in March 2026.
