Aristide Rontini is an Italian dancer and choreographer supported by Europe Beyond Access. He is a founding member of the Italian disabled artists-activists group Al Di Qua who are leading the way in advocating for the autonomy and rights of disabled artists in Italy. 

Rontini’s research questions the dimension of identity, the relationships between individuals and society and of nature and human beings. 

He graduated as a dancer from Codarts Rotterdam in 2010 and has worked with Simona Bertozzi (IT), the Candoco Dance Company (UK), Alessandro Carboni (IT), Alessandro Schiattarella/BewegGrund (CH), Teatro Della Tosse (IT), Michela Lucenti/Balletto Civile (IT), Angelica Liddell (SP), Carl Olof Berg/Spinn (SV), Vahan Badalyan (Armenia) and Diego Tortelli/Aterballetto (IT). 

In the past few years he has developed his own artistic projects, such as It moves me, Giovane Notturno, Talitha Kumi, Alexis and Alexis 2.0. 

 

Gaia Clotilde Chernetich is a dramaturg, writer, and performing arts scholar. She studied Narratology at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and Theater Studies at La Sorbonne Nouvelle/École Normale Supérieure. She earned a European PhD with a thesis on the transmission on Pina Bausch’s choreographic repertoire. Her academic publications focus on how memories and knowledge are passed down in dance and theatre. As a dramaturg, she collaborates with international artists and companies whose works are programmed in all major international theatre and festivals. As a trilingual writer, she writes about the performing arts and their politics for different international magazines.
 

Vittorio Giampietro is an Italian film composer, songwriter and sound designer with a background in classical and jazz. He creates original music for cinema, documentaries, dance and video art, weaving acoustic textures with experimental soundscapes. His music is distinguished by a strong focus on storytelling, combining acoustic, electric and electronic sounds to create immersive and emotional atmospheres. It moves fluidly between folk traditions, contemporary classical writing and electronic experimentation, reflecting an eclectic approach and a constant curiosity for sound.

In 2025 he composed and produced the complete soundtrack and original songs for Testa o Croce? (Heads or Tails?), presented in competition at Un Certain Regard – Festival de Cannes and later screened on Piazza Grande at the Locarno Film Festival. Among his acclaimed works are Re Granchio (The Tale of King Crab) (Cannes 2021, FIPRESCI) and Il Solengo (DocLisboa and Torino Film Festival 2015). His songs have been performed in films by actors such as and Alessandro Borghi, and by singers such as Giovanna Marini.

He has also collaborated with leading institutions including the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, La Biennale di Venezia and the Triennale di Milano. In contemporary dance, his work Lampyris Noctiluca is scheduled at the Roma Europa Festival 2025.

Maja Svartåker is trained in fashion design at Malmö Folk High School and the University of the Arts in Berlin. She received her Master's in Costume Design from the University of the Arts Berlin in 2021. She also worked for many years as a student assistant in the screen printing and paint workshop at the university.

Maja has been freelancing in costume design in Germany for several years, and has also worked in film, done set design, and made dolls. Among other things, she has worked at the Deutsches Theatre Berlin, the Puppentheater Gera, and with Nico and the Navigators. Since 2023, she has been working as a costume mangager at Skånes Dansteater.

Jesper Berger is a lighting designer, trained from the Danish School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in 2021.

He has worked with Bombina Bombast, Malmö Stadsteater, Malmö Opera, Malmö Puppet Theatre, Persona Non Grata, Teater Republique, Odense Theatre & Aalborg Theatre, among others.

At Skånes Dansteater, he has previously done lighting for "In Wind or Dust", as well as lighting and video design for "Indigo Flamingo".
