Life and the forest

When Britt-Marie turns 65 years old she gives retirement a try, but shortly returns to her profession as a forestry teacher. Her daughter Jenny, a dancer and mother of three, goes at the same time through a complicated divorce during which she decides to make a film about what it means to be a mother, strong and independent – and a lumberjack. Her film Jag och min mamma skogshuggaren (My Lumberjack Mom and Me) is an emotional journey through the lives of women, and the constant struggle for independence and purpose. 

In this Lunch with the Artist you meet dancer Jenny Larsson for a film viewing, quiz, artist talk about the creative work and the themes of the film. 

A kind of "Lunch Dance"

Lunch with the Artist takes place in our new foyer Foajé Bågscenen. Your ticket includes a hearty vegetarian lumberjack stew, coffe and cake. 

Lunchen serveras från kl. 11:30, men kan avnjutas innan, under eller efter samtalet. 

Foajé Bågscenen har onumrerade platser och fri placering. Din biljett har därför inget rad- eller stolsnummer. Alla stolar är placerade i markplan, om du gärna undviker trappor eller om du använder rullstol.
