What do dancers do in the dance studio every day? How do they develop their artistic expressions and physical skill set? In this Sunday workshop, you gain a unique insight into a dancer's artistry. 

Join our dancer Facundo in this workshop drawing on his acquired knowledge and experiences of working in the field of contemporary dance. Dancing at Skånes Dansteater exposes our dancers to many different choreographic voices, performance practices and working methods. 

This workshop is an opportunity to meet with Facundo closely, gain insight into his role as a dancer and experience how he engages with movement and creative process. He will delve into his own artistic interests and share different tools, techniques, ideas and strategies. 

The workshop will be two hours of play and lots of movement! 

More about Facundo Ebenegger

Facundo Ebenegger has been a company dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2024. Facundo is originally from Argentina, trained as a dancer in the Certificate Program at Peridance Center, New York, USA. 

He has danced with, among others, Yue Dance Company and Vivo Ballet, both based in New York. He has also danced with the National Dutch Opera in productions of Anna Bolena and Königskinder. He has been a guest dancer with Riva Dance Company in the Faroe Islands under the artistic direction of Rannvá Guðrunardóttir. He danced with Dadodans in a multidisciplinary performance directed and choreographed by Gaia Gonelli.

He has also danced in works by Jiri Kylian, Hofesh Shechter, Crystal Pite, Julia Ehrstrand, Julie Magneville, Rena Butler, Micaela Taylor, Zack Tang, Nicholas Palmquist, and Paxton Ricketts.
