What do dancers do in the dance studio every day? How do they develop their artistic expressions and physical skill set? In this Sunday workshop, you gain a unique insight into a dancer's artistry.

Join our dancer Jure in this workshop drawing on his acquired knowledge and experiences of working in the field of contemporary dance. Dancing at Skånes Dansteater exposes our dancers to many different choreographic voices, performance practices and working methods.

This workshop is an opportunity to meet with Jure closely, gain insight into his role as a dancer and experience how he engages with movement and creative process. He will delve into his own artistic interests and share different tools, techniques, ideas and strategies.

The workshop will be two hours of play and lots of movement!

More about Jure Gostinčar

Jure Gostinčar är dansare på Skånes Dansteater sedan 2021. Jure föddes 1992 i Koper i Slovenien. Han utbildade sig inom flera dansstilar i de lokala dansskolorna och började sin dansarkarriär som frilans i Slovenien. Efter examen från Ballet Junior de Genève i Geneve, Schweiz 2015, började han dansa med ŻfinMalta, Maltas nationalkompani. Han har även dansat i projekt med Titoyaya i Spanien och Gwyn Emberton Dance i Storbritannien. Innan han började dansa med Skånes Dansteater var han en del av OCN -TanzRAUM Nord i Bremen, Tyskland.

Under sin dansarkarriär har Jure hittills arbetat med bland andra Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, Iván Pérez Avilés, Felix Landerer, Jose Agudo, Gwyn Emberton, Helge Letonja och Samir Calixto, med flera.
