Opening ceremony and open house!

This year, Skånes Dansteater turns 30, celebrates 20 years in Västra hamnen, and expanded our premises at Östra Varvsgatan 13. 

Transforming more of the old warehouse into a house for damce with additional theatre, new dance studio, more changing rooms and office spaces.

We would love you to come and celebrate with us!

Registration or tickets are not required and you come and go as you please.

There will be plenty of coffee, cake and popcorn throughout the afternoon.

14:00 Opening speeches outside Östra Varvsgatan 13 D (new entrance on the sea-side)

Location: Bågscenen, the new performance space.

Get a taste of what our dance workshops for people with disabilities are like, as our participants will share what they have been working on during the autumn.

15:30-16:30 Open Rehearsal: Jag minns mig själv

Location: New studio

Take a peek at rehearsals for Jag minns mig själv (I Remember Me),  a new community dance performance by choreographer Gwyn Emberton with thirteen dancers from Skånes Dansteater's over 60's community.
