Ever wanted to know the tips and tricks of how Drag Queens make lip syncing so spectacular or wanted to scale up your lips to fabulous diva heights? And have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on stage captivating an audience to your favourite diva song? Well wonder no more, as the third and final Indigo Flamingo Workshop for 2026 spring season is a lip-syncing workshops with local drag scandal La Sosi. 

Precision and mess

In this workshop, we’ll dive into the deliciously dramatic craft of telling a story without actually singing a single note. Lipsync is about precision, but also about mess. It’s exaggeration, delusion, fantasy, connection and, most importantly, soul. We’ll explore how to match your lips, your face, your body, and your entire being to a song or sound. From micro-expressions to full-body chaos, from subtle heartbreak to unhinged pop diva meltdown. Everything is allowed, and nothing is too much. 

We’ll also explore lipsync as rebellion. An art form born in spaces where norms were bent, broken, and rewritten. So we make our own rules. Whether you’re shy, loud, polished, messy, experienced, or just curious… You belong here. 

About La Sosi

And guiding you through this glamorous nonsense? Local scandal La Sosi. La Sosi is a drag performer known for a deep commitment to taking things just a bit too far. You might have seen her hosting the weekly Loco Quiz at the local queer bar, at Club Mermaid, or ordering a falafel-rulle at 3 in the morning with her fake eyelashes hanging half unglued.

Practical Information

Coffees and teas served from 11:00. The workshop lasts 12:00–14:00.

No previous experience is required for this workshop, just bring your main character energy and your lips. 

The workshop is held in English.

Club Indigo's International Song Contest

For this year’s Indigo Flamingo performances we are reviving an old Malmö classic and reopening the stage to Club Indigo's International Song Contest. So once you’ve done this workshop, you will be more than prepared to get on stage in the original lipsyncing battle.
